Nominations for selection to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame may be made by any Canadian or by a Canadian sports or other organization. Nominations shall be made in writing to the Secretary and shall contain the most complete possible data concerning the record and merits of the candidate nominated.
Full nomination guidelines and a nomination form may be found below. The Nomination Form must be submitted by January 15, 2011 to be eligible for selection at the 2011 meeting. Only the nomination form will be forwarded to the Selection Committee for consideration. If available, please forward a quality photograph of the nominee providing copyright information for the photograph.
The Selection Committee meets in the spring each year to elect the new inductees. Once all inductees have been notified, then the names are released to the media and posted to the website.
